Hoo boy..  Sorry for the lack of posts the last couple of days.  Not much in the way of fun, sights or anything else.  We left Grand Island, Nebraska Sunday morning in the rain and basically drove to Hannibal, MO in the rain all day.  Cold, windy and rainy.  When we hit Hannibal it was big time rain.  Driving with your hazard lights blinking type rain.  Found a nice hotel and a local bar and made do with what they had.  Back to the room to dry out.

The next morning, it was still raining.   Headed to Indiana to visit our good friends Paul and Kathi Quinn.  Across Illinois and up to Noblesville, IN.  Still raining.  By the time we got to Noblesville it was clearing up.

Wonderful time with the Quinn family.  Just wonderful.  Got caught up, had too much of the brown alcohol.  Spent time in the morning making plans and got on the road heading for home. 

Talked to the body shop on the way re my car.  Waiting on parts.  2 more weeks.  Oh well.  Made it back to Brighton right about 4p.  Gotta see what the house looks like!

Floors look great.  Have to reassemble everything though.  Everything is in boxes.  Put the bed together.  They had the frame rails upside down.  Get on the line w Comcast.  Internet has been down for so long, it wouldn’t boot up.  Dust everywhere from the floor sanding.  You get the idea.  It was a great trip. It was our 41st anniversary Tuesday.  6,700 miles.  Just a day or two shy of a month on the road. Good to be home.

Its late morning Wednesday and the truck still is not unloaded.  🙂 .  Thanks for following!
